This tour takes one by road from Antananarivo to Tulear in the south visiting
the wine growing area of Fianarantsoa, the spectacular montane national
park of Isaolo and the coastal beach resort in the Spiny Forest at Ifaty
north of Tulear.  Then from Tulear one returns to Tana by scheduled flight
before being driven to the world famous upland tropical forests of
Perinet where the Indri is the drawcard.                                                                    This itinerary will appeal to those with an interest in the culture of Madagascar as well as the wildlife aspects.
