An opportunity to cover vast distances and visit the main attractions of this sunbaked land by flying between Fish River Canyon, Seseriem in the Namib Desert, Swakopmund, Skeleton Coast and Etosha National Park. The tour starts and ends in Windhoek.

 

THE ITINERARY

DAY 1 MONDAY WINDHOEK - FISH RIVER CANYON
Fly from Windhoek along the edge of the Kalahari to Southern Namibia. Our destination is the magnificent boulder-studded plains and hills to the east of the Fish River Canyon. Overnight at Cañon Lodge. [D]

DAY 2 TUESDAY SOSSUSVLEI
Visit Fish River Canyon in the morning. Scenic flight from the 500m deep Canyon and the magnificent dune belts of the Namib Desert to Sesriem. Overnight at Sossusvlei Lodge. [DBB]

DAY 3 WEDNESDAY SOSSUSVLEI - SWAKOPMUND
Visit Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the highest sand dunes in the world, and explore the gorges of Sesriem Canyon. Fly along the Atlantic and the Skeleton Coast to the charming town of Swakopmund. Overnight at Hansa Hotel. [BB]

DAY 4 THURSDAY COAST - DAMARALAND
Transfer to Walvis Bay where you embark on a Marine Cruise. Possibly see flamingos, Cape fur seals or dolphins while enjoying Namibian oysters. Fly north along the vast plains of the Skeleton Coast to Damaraland. Overnight at Twyfelfontein Country Lodge. [DBB]

DAY 5 FRIDAY TWYFELFONTEIN - ETOSHA NAT. PARK
See Namibia's most famous rock art site at Twyfelfontein. A short flight takes you to the overnight lodge situated at the entrance of the Etosha National Park. Overnight at Taleni Etosha Village. [DBB]

DAY 6 SATURDAY ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Join a full day game drive in Etosha National Park. The game and birds found here are typical of the savannah plains of Southern Africa, but include several endemic species. Overnight at Taleni Etosha Village. [DBB]

DAY 7 SUNDAY ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK - WINDHOEK
After a leisurely breakfast we board our aircraft for the final flight back to Windhoek. [B]

US citizens do not require visas for travel to South Africa nor Namibia.   All other passport holders must check with their local Consulate offices at time of booking.    THREE BLANK PASSPORT PAGES ARE NEEDED AND A PASSPORT VALID FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS AFTER RETURNING HOME.

Anti-malaria tablets must be taken throughout. No shots are required at this time.

We would require a Non-refundable deposit of 20% per person to proceed with reservations and the balance will become due and payable 70 days before date of travel. All major credit cards are accepted in our offices as well as cheques.    SA
