Deborah Urquhart, owner and President of Wild African Ventures, started her career in the travel business in Johannesburg, South Africa more than 35 years ago. After emigrating from South Africa to Vancouver, Canada in 1980, she moved to New York in 1983 and then on to California in 1987 where she founded the business in 1990.

Her experience includes hotel training and all aspects of tourism ground handling services in Southern and East Africa, both incoming and outgoing, and the Indian Ocean islands.
