DAY 01 CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA
Arrive Cape Town Station in time for 0920 departure on Rovos Rail's overnight journey to
George, traveling along the world-famous Garden
Route.
Upon arrival at the Cape Town Station, you will be escorted to Rovos' private reception area where you exchange your voucher for your boarding pass. Enjoy light refreshments before boarding the world famous "Rovos
Rail" for your journey to
George including all meals and drinks.
From the moment you step aboard the train, you will discover the features that have made it famous. Enjoy air-conditioned compartments, a luxurious dining car and the plush comfort of the public rooms, combined with the enchanting and ever-changing scenery of Southern Africa.
OVERNIGHT: ROVOS RAIL Royal
and Deluxe Suites
Rovos offers accommodation of an unmatched standard combining the
opulence of pre-war travel with subtle modern innovations. Each of
the individually air-conditioned suites carries two people offering the
option of twin or double beds. The Royal Suites each have their
own private lounge area and feature a full en suite bathroom with shower
and Victorian bath. The Deluxe Suites each have a lounge area and
private bath with shower. All the bathrooms have a hairdryer and
shaver point. The meals are superb - five star cuisine all the way! Enjoy the quiet atmosphere, efficient service and gourmet meals while the South African landscape glides gently past your window.
Dinner is a fairly formal affair and men are requested to wear a jacket and tie.
DAY 02 GEORGE
After overnight on the train and breakfast, reach George at 0900.
Disembark and continue on your own arrangements. Between George and
Knysna passengers may independently board the Railway Museum Steam hauled train,
the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe; a 2 1/2 hour journey.

Single supplement on all Rovos trains is an additional 50% of
